Description

Job Summary:
Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Lubbock, Texas. This part-time role offers an opportunity to work with children facing developmental, neurological, and sensory-motor challenges in a collaborative, child-centered environment. The PTA will implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist and employ engaging, play-based interventions to promote gross motor development, coordination, and strength. This position is ideal for new graduates seeking to grow their careers in pediatric therapy.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program; current state PTA license or eligibility for licensure; CPR certification or willingness to obtain; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Additional Information:
    • Assist in delivering evidence-based, play-focused therapy to children
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor and evaluate patient progress
    • Educate and partner with families and caregivers to support therapy carryover at home
    • Manage a typical caseload of approximately 10 to 12 patient visits per day
    • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline record-keeping
    • Use the Raintree electronic medical records (EMR) platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management
