Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (Inpatient) position in Silver City, New Mexico. The therapist will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and deliver physical therapy services within the scope of practice outlined by the New Mexico State Board of Physical Therapy, American Physical Therapy Association standards, and facility policies. The role involves providing outpatient and inpatient services to a diverse patient population with a focus on rehabilitation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree, New Mexico Physical Therapist license (must obtain permanent license within 6 months if holding a temporary or provisional license), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire, ability to pass the Rehabilitation Department Aquatic Competency test within 90 days if aquatic therapy is part of the job.
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in a related setting is preferred.
• Additional Information: This position involves outpatient and some inpatient services. The facility is located at 1313 E 32ND STREET, Silver City, NM 88061. The contractor replacement role is available for one position.
