Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist with specialization in Mammography (Mammographer) position available in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves performing diagnostic mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care during day shifts. The role requires applying professional judgment to assist licensed practitioners in diagnostic and interventional procedures within a healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors or an Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program; current OBMI (Oregon Medical Board) registration, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Mammography certification, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. CRASE training may be required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Performs diagnostic mammography procedures, prepares patients, operates imaging equipment, and evaluates image quality. Supports patient safety through aseptic techniques and appropriate use of contrast media or medications as prescribed. Will follow all applicable policies and participate in required educational programs relevant to the position.
