Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Ultrasonographer General for a facility located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This full-time position involves performing diagnostic sonographic imaging specifically focused on pediatric patients, supporting radiologists with timely interpretation to assist in patient treatment. Candidates with pediatric experience, especially those who have worked at dedicated childrens hospitals or possess Pediatric Board Certification, are preferred.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Completion of 1 full travel assignment, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via the American Heart Association, High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least 2 years of pediatric experience. Pediatric experience at a dedicated childrens hospital is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience at a Childrens hospital and/or Pediatric Board Certification.
Additional Information: Candidates must have prior pediatric ultrasound experience, ideally in a dedicated pediatric hospital setting. All applicants must have completed at least one full travel assignment and meet the certification requirements. Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins healthcare facilities must be noted in the work history to verify rehire status. Verification is required if the candidate has ever worked for any Johns Hopkins facilities, regardless of how long ago.
