Description
Job Summary:
Polysomnographer in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves performing sleep studies, monitoring patients, and managing sleep equipment within a healthcare environment. The role requires clinical skill and experience to ensure accurate testing and patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS, or RPSGT or RRT with at least 1 year of experience in sleep studies, including adult and pediatric patient care, knowledge of sleep testing equipment such as Alice*, ResMed CPAP units, and electronic sleep study monitoring systems. Valid California license in hand.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital settings, and prior sleep laboratory experience with specific skills including End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, sleep staging, and use of Alice* G3 software.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Compliance with SSN, DOB, and RTO documentation is required at the time of submission. References covering at least 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the past 3 years are necessary prior to start. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026, with an orientation of 40 hours.
