Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves providing critical respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients across various hospital units. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced ventilator technology and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Education requirements include relevant Respiratory Therapist certification, with no minimum experience specified. Location: Tallahassee, FL.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in critical care and emergency settings, including ICU, ER, and NICU pediatric care. Additional skills in aerosol treatments, Bipap management, and ventilator management are highly desirable.
Additional Information: The respiratory therapy team rotates through all inpatient units and two intensive care units, utilizing advanced ventilator equipment such as Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Seimens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers. The team actively participates in interdisciplinary rounding and bedside procedures, including intubation and arterial line insertion.
