Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Morristown, New Jersey. This position involves preparing patients for cardiac ultrasound examinations, focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction, explaining procedures in easy-to-understand terms, and expertly performing high-quality adult echocardiography studies according to industry guidelines. The role includes setting up equipment, reviewing prior reports and images, ensuring complete and accurate documentation, and maintaining records. The ultrasonographer will also be responsible for managing supplies and performing other related duties as assigned.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA); experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography.
• Preferred Qualifications: TEE and Stress Echo experience; familiarity with 3D echo imaging; experience with TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols; maintaining ICAEL-accredited echocardiography standards; experience using Philips ie33 and Epiq systems; familiarity with Epic hospital information system.
• Additional Information: The role requires proficiency in valvular assessment utilizing spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills, as well as experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies. The candidate should be able to work independently, recognize abnormalities, and respond promptly to critical findings.
