Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET-CT imaging is sought for a daytime position at a healthcare organization located in Los Angeles, California. The role involves performing diagnostic PET/CT scans and other imaging procedures using dual licenses in nuclear medicine and CT. This position offers an opportunity to support multiple sites within the region, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, shift hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified as an ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist (N), CNMT, NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board), PET, ARRT CT/NMTCB (CT); State Licensed in X-ray; 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine and CT imaging; experience with adult patient populations, clinic settings, and PPE protocols; proficiency in Siemens imaging equipment; ability to start and maintain IVs; knowledge of storing and handling radioactive materials
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic; prior community hospital or similar healthcare environment experience
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to meet facility needs, supporting multiple sites including Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita as needed
• Additional Information: The role involves performing PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast, utilizing radioactive materials and X-rays to evaluate and treat patients. The licensed technologist will work under the supervision of a licensed authorized user or license designee to ensure safe and effective use of radionuclides across multiple locations.
