Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered position in Southfield, Michigan. This role involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to pediatric and adult patients. The Respiratory Therapist performs both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures, communicates effectively with the healthcare team, and maintains accurate documentation. The position requires supervising and delegating tasks to Respiratory Therapists, interns, and students as needed.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience, Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program, current registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care, current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Neonatal intensive care experience is a plus, but not required. Experience working in a Trauma Level 2 facility is also a plus.
• Certifications and Licenses: - Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT credential) registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care. - Current state licensure in Michigan.
• Additional Information: - Experience with neonatal patients and trauma care is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should be prepared for an assignment starting on 08/10/2026, for a duration of 13 weeks.
