Physical Therapist Inpatient position available in Danville, Virginia. This role involves providing outpatient therapeutic services with a focus on pelvic floor, lymphedema, orthopedic, and manual techniques. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a scenic and historic area near the Virginia-North Carolina border.
Job Details
- Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Specialty: Pelvic floor, lymphedema, orthopedic (helpful but not mandatory)
- Location: Danville, Virginia
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: PTA license, 1 year of experience, available to start on 09/28/2026, and work through 12/28/2026
- Additional Notes: Willingness to learn new techniques, as manual correction is frequently used in treatments
- Responsibilities include assisting with back pain, neck pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), vestibular issues, pelvic floor, lymphedema, balance/gait deficits, and stroke rehabilitation
- Attire: Casual business, any scrub color; no blue jeans
