Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) - Night Shift, located in the healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders across various age groups, including neonatal, infant, toddler, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The position requires providing high-quality respiratory care, supervising respiratory care students, and initiating therapeutic procedures.

Job Details

• Position Description: Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including supervision of respiratory care students. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. On-call required once every scheduling period. The position involves a weekend (Friday - Sunday) block schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), relevant education and licensure verification, 1 year of experience in respiratory care, and previous Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months.
• Additional Information: Some pediatric experience preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. The candidate may be asked to cover other shifts as needed, and a low census shift may be implemented per week depending on patient load.
