Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Dietitian for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves managing nutritional needs for adult patients, including titration and management of enteral feeding, conducting nutritional screening assessments, developing plans of care, providing diabetic education, and managing malnutrition concerns to support patient recovery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Dietitian/Nutritionist through the Washington State Department of Health; Bachelors degree in a related field; 1 year of experience in nutritional management including enteral feeding, nutritional assessments, diabetic education, and malnutrition treatment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with supplement management aimed at optimizing wound care and addressing malnutrition; flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
- Additional Information: Role supports adult patient population with varied needs related to nutritional care and treatment.
