Description
Job Summary:
A Histologist position is available in Houston, Texas. This role involves working in an acute care setting during night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tissue samples and ensuring quality standards are met, supporting clinical operations in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 07:30 AM
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) via the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); Minimum of 2 years relevant experience; No license submission required; No trauma level specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Radiation badges must be supplied by the employer, not the facility. Parking is available at a cost of $15 per day on campus. Multiple off-campus parking options are available ranging from $100 to $150 per month. The charting system used is EPIC. No BLS certification is required for this position. The assignment begins on 09/08/2026, with a work week totaling 40 hours.
