• Duration of Assignment: 13 weeks
• Shift Schedule: Days, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Kansas. No prior inpatient experience is required, with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to complete Medicare Billing Services (MBS) as well as acute or auxiliary rehabilitation unit treatments.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units, including possible acute care or outpatient settings.
• Additional Information: The unit's patient diagnosis profile includes approximately 18% stroke, 17% neurological conditions, 12% lower extremity fractures, 8% lower extremity replacements, 6% non-traumatic brain injuries, 2% traumatic brain injuries, 6% orthopedic cases, 5% non-traumatic spinal cord injuries, and 26% other diagnoses.
