Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technologist and Echocardiographer Specialty Day shift Fort Madison, Iowa. This hybrid position requires experience as both an Ultrasound Technologist and an Echo Technologist. The role involves performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography procedures, producing high-quality images for physicians to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The position offers an opportunity to work independently within a team-oriented environment, providing exceptional care and satisfaction to all customers.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, every 3rd weekend call, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including ARDMS registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI credentialed. Education requirement: Associate Degree in Applied Science or a related field. Location requirement: Fort Madison, Iowa. Minimum 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stress testing and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Ability to conduct contrast and saline bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography.
• Additional Information: The role involves operating ultrasound and echocardiography equipment to obtain and record high-quality images of internal organs and the heart, according to established protocols and accreditation standards. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and excellent patient interaction.
