Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient - located in Fort Bragg, California. This position involves planning and conducting treatment programs to restore and improve patients' physical functions within an inpatient setting. The role requires serving as a co-leader in interdisciplinary patient care, providing therapy interventions, and ensuring proper documentation and discharge planning.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree only if obtained license on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent; two years' Physical Therapy experience; Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Preferred Qualifications: Two years' Physical Therapy experience in outpatient/inpatient settings (optional)
- Essential Functions: Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards; utilizes appropriate clinical techniques and tools; establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans; accurately documents clinical information; supervises assigned assistants; performs other related duties as assigned
- Additional Information: The position is based in a coastal region known for outdoor activities and natural beauty. The facility is a critical access hospital with a focus on comprehensive patient care. The role is a full-time, day-shift position starting on 08/31/2026.
