Job Summary:
The specialized inpatient physical therapist position is located in LA QUINTA, California. This role involves implementing treatment plans and selecting modalities to meet specific rehabilitative goals. The therapist will provide prescribed physical therapy treatments to facilitate patient recovery, assist in patient evaluations, and coordinate discharge planning. The position requires adherence to licensure standards and compliance policies to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy (PT); licensure by the PT Board of the State of California; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 0 years of experience in physical therapy or healthcare setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or Doctorate degree in PT; physical therapy or healthcare experience; highly desired: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Additional Information: The role demands the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, administer all department modalities and protocols appropriate for the patient population served, and maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals. The therapist will participate in interdisciplinary programs, support patient flow, and ensure thorough documentation of care.
