Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT Assistant) in Massachusetts. This position involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practices and providing rehabilitative treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders. The role includes administering procedures such as activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices, all under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure/Registration when applicable. Submission requires 1 year of OTA experience REQUIRED; Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehab experience REQUIRED; COTA license REQUIRED.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information: The role involves assessing patient progress, communicating with supervising Occupational Therapists to adjust treatments, documenting clinical information in electronic records, and participating in patient care conferences, trainings, and meetings. The candidate will also support students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and ensure compliance with practice acts, ethics, and documentation standards.
