Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in Santa Cruz, California. This position involves performing routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with developed treatment plans, ensuring safe and precise delivery of care. The role requires independent work, effective patient assessment, and adherence to all relevant regulations to guarantee optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM with flexibility required.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Therapeutic (ARRT-T), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, valid California state license, at least 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, experience with community hospital settings, proficiency in external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), respiratory gating, and vision RT units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elekta Infinity, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems; knowledge of benign brain tumors, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, and Prophylactic treatments.
- Additional Information: The candidate must complete all onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide accurate work history going back 7 years. References must be obtained within the last year, and a maximum of 7 days of possible return to work (RTO) is permitted per contract.
