Respiratory Therapist Registered in North Carolina at a healthcare facility. This role involves administering respiratory care under physician supervision, with duties including patient education, airway management, intubation, and ventilator management in both adult critical care and pediatric/neonatal settings. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) status as administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); current North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as issued by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 0 years experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of work experience in an adult critical care setting; experience working in a pediatric/neonatal care setting; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Additional Information: The role involves administering aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, managing airway devices and ventilators, evaluating blood-gas levels, and providing patient education on respiratory topics including bronchodilator use, CPAP equipment, smoking cessation, asthma management, and more. Candidates must be prepared to perform arterial punctures and manage ventilated patients continuously.
