Description
Job Summary:
This location in California is seeking a Mammographer for a portable assignment specializing in mammography examinations, including screening, diagnostic, biopsy procedures, and needle localization. The role offers a competitive schedule with 10-hour shifts, requiring the professional to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 09/14/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand, at least 1 year of mammography experience, proficiency in digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and PACS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 3-D Mammography, Fine Needle Aspiration, Needle Localizations, and additional expertise in outpatient settings.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience performing mammography examsincluding screening and diagnostic proceduresas well as biopsy procedures and needle localizations; experience with Hologic equipment is preferred. All modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours, to be completed pre-start and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported.
