Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric care is needed in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services in a hospital setting, supporting neonatal through adult patients. The role requires working night shifts and involves delivering essential treatments and procedures on a busy respiratory unit.
Job Details:
- Location: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage, Alaska, 99508
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT), BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); candidates must have experience in ER/CCU, NICU, Level 2 EKG; typical procedures include ventilator set-up for neonates through adults, high flow therapy in NICU, nebulizer treatments, nitric oxide, Flolan therapy, BiPAP, Bubble CPAP.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilator management and neonatal respiratory procedures.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The respiratory unit requires active participation in patient care involving ventilator management, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit procedures, and various respiratory therapies. Candidates should be able to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
