Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing high-quality pediatric respiratory care, including ventilator management, patient assessment, and invasive and non-invasive airway management. The role requires working nights to support patient care needs in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist certification, pediatric respiratory care experience, basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications, pediatric patient care experience, Oklahoma state licensure, and 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Ventilator weaning experience, proficiency with pulmonary function studies, and familiarity with pediatric airway management procedures.
  • Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will evaluate patient condition, operate ventilatory and airway equipment, perform related procedures including chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and arterial puncture, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. The role may include assisting with invasive procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care as per policy. Candidates should adhere to all clinical policies and maintain accurate documentation.
