Description
Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technician position available in Salt Lake City. The role involves supporting the EP lab unit with procedures such as ablations, PPM, PCD, and LAAC. The ideal candidate will be flexible, a team player, and hardworking, with a focus on patient care and procedural support.
Job Details:
- Location: 1200 East 3900 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84124
- Shift: Days, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Certifications: Candidate must hold RT (Respiratory Therapist), CVT (Cardiovascular Technician), or RN (Registered Nurse) license, along with RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification
- Unit Information:
- Number of labs: 2
- Staff: 15 (day shift RNs and techs)
- Typical patient case load: 5-9 cases per day
- Equipment used: Philips EMR, EPICT
- Procedures performed: Ablations, PPM (Permanent Pacemaker) placements, PCD (Percutaneous Coronary Devices), LAAC (Left Atrial Appendage Closure)
- Personality Fit: Flexible, team player, hardworking
- Dress Code: Navy scrub attire (provided)
- Additional Information: Candidates without the required certifications and knowledge of EP procedures will not be considered. On-call duties and weekend work are not applicable.
