Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) The healthcare provider located in the specified region seeks a qualified LPN to support interventional radiology procedures. This position involves providing professional nursing care, preparing patients for diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, administering moderate sedation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Position: Interventional Radiology Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Certifications: Active ACLS license required
- Education and Experience: Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience, with at least 1 year in a clinical setting specializing in interventional radiology or related fields
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license and certifications including ACLS; experience in supporting diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures; ability to prepare patients, administer moderate sedation, and document clinical activities accurately
- Additional Information: Responsible for ensuring patient safety during procedures, collecting and handling specimens per laboratory policies, and post-procedure recovery monitoring. Collaborates effectively across medical disciplines to uphold operational efficiency.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the above qualifications and be prepared to support multiple interventional radiology locations as assigned.
