Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant (Occupational Therapist Assistant Inpatient) in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves working in an inpatient acute care facility, providing therapy services on a rotating schedule that includes weekends. The role requires active involvement in rehabilitation services within a busy hospital setting, supporting patient recovery and functional improvement.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, four days per week, rotating schedule to include weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapist Assistant Certification required; no prior experience necessary; the position is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Weekend rotation, including Saturdays and Sundays. The unit employs EPIC electronic medical records (EMR), and typical patient ratios are 8-10 patients daily. The unit has 175 beds and 60 therapy providers, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and supporting personnel. Local background and Alaska state fingerprint clearance or provisional status are required to start.
