Job Summary
Radiology Technician (Xray Technologist) position in Medford, Oregon. This role involves performing a variety of fluoroscopy procedures, emergency department exams, inpatient and outpatient imaging, portable exams, and operating advanced imaging equipment. The position requires a self-motivated professional capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality imaging standards in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week starting 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, Oregon state license, a minimum of 3 years of experience, ability to work quickly, independently, and efficiently.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Fluoro procedures, working with all patient types (infants to geriatrics), familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system, Fuji Synapse PACS, and GE & Fuji portable imaging equipment.
- Float: Floating to other units/departments may be required; experience training for IR and cath lab exams is preferred.
- Additional Information: The position is based in a 370-bed hospital with a 30-bed emergency room and a nurse to patient ratio of 1:X. Will wear hospital scrubs. The initial one-week training and orientation will be conducted by the units technical staff from Monday to Friday. There is a 24-hour call policy applicable every 13 weeks, with a possible two-week notice for cancellations. No BSN is required, and the position involves working in an acute care setting within a Level 2 trauma care environment.
