Job Summary
Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) in Reno, Nevada. This position involves producing diagnostic images while delivering exceptional patient care in a busy, Level II trauma center. The role requires operating imaging equipment in various departments, assessing patient needs, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts, with varied schedule.
- Schedule: Shift hours are 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification upon hire, Nevada state license for Medical Radiography, a minimum of 2 years experience, fluoro experience, and recent prior travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to accommodate department needs, up to the incumbent's competency level.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a fast-paced environment serving a broad regional area. The position may require working major holidays and additional shifts as needed. The incumbent must demonstrate competency in various radiology procedures, including operating in the OR Suite, Trauma Suite, and portable radiography on or before the 90-day evaluation date.
