Job Summary:
Richland, Washington The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Xray Technologist for a temporary assignment. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in various hospital units, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and supporting the clinical team. The position offers an opportunity to work within a diverse patient care environment and contribute to the organizations diagnostic services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact registered radiologic technologist license, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, one year of experience, and OR experience is required
- Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, trauma level II experience, and proficiency with Epic (charting system)
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the facility
- Additional Information: Candidate must have the ability to perform a wide range of imaging procedures including abdominal decubitus, portable procedures, and the use of advanced imaging equipment such as C-Arm and O-ARM. Knowledge of infection prevention and radiation safety practices is essential. The assignment begins on 08/31/2026, with a mandatory orientation of 80 hours, and includes support from interdisciplinary teams such as respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy. Candidate must have valid licenses and be prepared to work within a 50-mile local radius.
