Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) role in Ottumwa, Iowa. This position involves working on the inpatient unit with geriatric and adult patients, providing evaluations and treatments aligned with clinical standards. The role supports a dynamic care team responsible for patient rehabilitation and recovery.
Job Details:
- Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
- Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Masters degree from an accredited occupational therapy school; licensed in the state of Iowa; 0-1 years of experience; flexible to float between units as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient or geriatric settings
- Additional Information: Will be floating from the acuity recovery unit (ARU) to medical-surgical (MS) to cover evaluations and treatments as needed. The unit has 13 beds in the ARU and 24 beds in the MS. The environment requires compliance with clinical dress code, with scrubs in any color and prohibiting pajamas or torn clothing.
