Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Radiologic Technologist position is located in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures through expert operation of fluoroscopic imaging equipment, maintaining sterile techniques, and coordinating procedural workflows. The technologist collaborates with physicians, nurses, and an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while demonstrating advanced technical skills in procedural imaging, radiation safety, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Job Details

  • Shift Hours: Days, 10 hours per shift
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI; ARRT certification, RT(R); current BLS certification; ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire); at least one year of experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases.
  • Preferred Qualifications: BS Radiologic Science/Medical Imaging; additional certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale; at least three years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab managing fluoroscopy, scrubbing interventional cases, and functioning in monitor role.
  • Additional Information: The role involves operating fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging systems during procedures, assisting physicians with sterile techniques, monitoring hemodynamic data, and supporting department operations such as supply management and equipment checks. Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are preferred. The technologist must be adaptable, able to work independently, and sensitive to culturally diverse patient conditions.
