Job Summary:
Cytologist in Peoria, Illinois. This position involves working in a cytology department within an acute care setting, focusing on specimen analysis and patient contact. The role is suitable for candidates with at least two years of experience in cytology and relevant certifications, offering a Monday through Friday daytime schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Certified Cytologist (CT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); two years of experience in cytology.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
