Job Summary
Omaha, Nebraska The organization is seeking a qualified EEG Technologist Registered to provide services in an acute care setting. The role involves performing electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures in both outpatient and inpatient environments, collaborating closely with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic testing.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: 10-hour days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS.T) through AAET; high school diploma or equivalent; valid drivers license; at least 1 year of related experience; license eligibility to submit not required; location in Omaha, Nebraska
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to perform nerve conduction and autonomic studies, with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and neurology related to peripheral and autonomic nervous system testing
- Additional Information: Unit notes include a 50-mile radius rule; must provide valid drivers license upon submission. Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove artificial nails will lead to contract termination. The technologist should be familiar with electronic health record system EPIC.
