Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) in Hollywood, Florida. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric patients, primarily managing ventilated patients in a neonatal intensive care unit setting. The position requires independently functioning at the bedside with current experience operating ventilators and familiarity with neonatal respiratory equipment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current work experience of at least 2-3 years, with a focus on independent bedside management of ventilated patients; proficiency in operating Servo U ventilators; familiarity with Drager ventilators, Bunnell Jet Vent, Sensormedic 3100A oscillator, and Nitric Oxide delivery; current certifications in respiratory therapy; valid license or registered status as a respiratory therapist.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of additional neonatal respiratory equipment and advanced ventilator modes.
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will be responsible for managing ventilated neonatal patients within the neonatal intensive care unit, ensuring safety and optimal respiratory support.
