Description

Job Summary:
The Boston area is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a specialty in nuclear medicine procedures. This position involves working in a clinical setting performing various diagnostic imaging tests. The role requires a qualified professional to deliver high-quality patient care and to operate advanced imaging equipment during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

  • Position Description: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. The technologist will operate PET/CT imaging equipment, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, generally from 09:00 to 17:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARRT (N) or CNMT. Education requirements include a relevant degree or equivalent training. Candidates must possess a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist (RT) license if not already licensed. No prior experience is required beyond the minimum of 0 years; a background at an academic medical center with PET/CT experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Biograph CT 64, Medrad Intego automated injector, handling of multiple radiopharmaceuticals, and proficiency with PACS systems. Knowledge of radiation safety principles (ALARA) and USP <825> is desirable.
  • Schedule: Shifts typically run for 8 hours, with a weekly schedule starting from 08/31/2026.
  • Additional Information: No on-call responsibilities. The start date is contingent upon compliance and is approximately four weeks from the acceptance of the offer. Candidates must be eligible to work locally without residing within 50 miles of the facility. Interviews are to be scheduled with the organization, and any time-off requests must be noted at submission.
