Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient Location: Kauai, HI. This role involves providing evaluation and treatment services across inpatient acute, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and outpatient settings. The position requires comprehensive mobility assessments, discharge planning knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a rural healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Certified or licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) with at least 1 year of experience in inpatient or outpatient care, and current Hawaii PT license required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include PT evaluations and treatments for patients in ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), occasionally in obstetrics, and extensively in outpatient PT clinic.
• The full schedule involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient visits, with patient evaluations typically occurring every 30-45 minutes and new evaluations lasting approximately one hour.
• Additional information: Holiday pay is based on hours worked on those days; initial accreditation or licensing processes should be initiated promptly.
