Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is available at a critical access hospital in Windsor, Vermont. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy treatments to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and a commitment to patient care excellence. The assignment begins on 09/08/2026 and incorporates day shift hours, with a focus on delivering quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Windsor, Vermont
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, with at least 40 hours per week. No 10/12-hour shifts are considered for this need.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of current inpatient physical therapy experience
  • Vermont Physical Therapy license (Active)
  • BLS (AHA) certification (Active)
  • Must have own vehicle for travel purposes
  • Travel experience of at least 6 months (Highly Preferred)
  • Residency outside 50 miles of the facility's location
  • Availability to start on 09/08/2026
  • RTO requests must be included in profile at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cerner electronic medical record experience
• Additional Information:
  • EMR: Cerner
  • No holiday, call-back, or overtime multipliers
  • Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color
  • Facility will enforce a three-strike call-off rule, with potential contract termination after three call-offs
  • Responsible for documenting treatments, maintaining records, and participating in community health programs
  • Submission must include all scheduling requests and RTO at the time of application
