Description

Job Summary:
Registered Dietitian (Dietitian) position located in Anchorage, Alaska. This 13-week assignment involves weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with minor flexibility. The role requires clinical experience and emphasizes pediatric, adult, and neonatal nutrition. The assignment includes working with a diverse patient population in an acute hospital setting, providing nutritional assessments, therapies, and education.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/N) with 0 or more years of clinical experience, including pediatric expertise preferred. Valid state license in Alaska (pending license accepted with a 10-12 week processing time).
  • Open to First Timers: Yes
  • Days and Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week minimum
  • RTO Restrictions: Time off must be approved individually; all RTO requests included during application.
  • Holidays: Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
  • Experience: At least 0 years, with emphasis on clinical pediatric and adult nutrition, including enteral nutrition and nutritional assessments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience, familiarity with Epic charting system, and at least 3 years of clinical practice.
  • Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Provide nutrition therapy, assessments, and education for a broad patient demographic.
  • References: Two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years, including charge RNs or leads if applicable.
  • Travel & Credentialing: Must be willing to work with a valid license or pending license, with a valid SSN and date of birth. Travel compliance and regional submission restrictions apply (region-specific and 50 miles from the assignment location).
  • Additional Information: Candidates should review housing options in the area, as housing availability may be limited. Completion of pre-start modules is required, averaging approximately 16 hours, with over 20 hours needing prior approval.
