Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services within a healthcare facility. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care, particularly for individuals with traumatic brain injuries and other complex conditions. The position is scheduled for day shifts, supporting the facilitys goal of optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, active Maryland or Compact license, BLS certification, CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version), and relevant skill set including acute care, adaptive equipment assessment, and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic, prior community hospital or LTAC experience, and trauma level II experience.
- Additional Information:
- Candidate must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests; travelers are first to float.
- The position involves interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and interpretation services.
- Must comply with local rules requiring licensure and certifications, with onboarding labs within 72 hours of signing.
- Travel and scheduling restrictions apply, including RTO requests limited to 7 days, and a requirement for candidates to be away from the system for at least 6 months if a return traveler.
