Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position located in Alaska. The role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with responsibilities including monitoring, assisting with complex interventions, and ensuring patient safety within a fast-paced acute hospital environment. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 09/21/2026 and continues through 03/22/2027, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced technologists to contribute to specialized cardiovascular care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS. A minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or related interventional procedures is required. Valid state licensure is preferred but pending licenses are acceptable during the application process.
- Preferred Qualifications: EP (Electrophysiology), IR (Interventional Radiology), vascular, neuro experience, familiarity with Philips X-Ray system, and a variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices.
- Float: Float within scope to other units or facilities to meet operational needs is permitted.
- Additional Information: The position requires on-call availability for one shift weekly and every fourth weekend as part of standard scheduling. Candidates must be willing to work major holidays, with flexibility for time off approval on an individual basis. Travel to affiliate hospitals or within the hospital may be required for procedural support.
