Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient position located at a healthcare facility in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift
  • Start Date: 09/14/2026
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in speech-language pathology, appropriate state licensure, and relevant training for inpatient therapy. No prior experience is explicitly required, but candidates should be adaptable to inpatient rehabilitation settings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), dysphagia management, cognitive assessment and treatment, and stroke rehabilitation are highly desirable. Candidates with skills in Vital Stim therapy and TBI experience will be considered first.
  • Responsibilities: Conduct bedside swallow exams, administer MBSS, provide vital stim therapy, and manage patients with dysphagia, stroke, or TBI. Maintain documentation, adhere to unit policies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Schedule: The position involves an 8-hour day shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
