Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric care is sought for a dynamic healthcare organization in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing inpatient respiratory support across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, within a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience with pediatric respiratory procedures and work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS (AHA), and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC; at least 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy; valid license to practice as a respiratory therapist in Nebraska
Experience or 'Must Have' Skills: EKGs, bedside bronchs, bedside spirometry; experience with Vents (Drager, Servo I, Carefusion), Bipaps (Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T), High Flow (Airvo2) devices; hospitalist or intensivist support available 24/7
Shift & Scheduling: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM); rotation including weekends and holidays as per schedule
Additional Information: Floating to different hospital areas throughout the shift; unit orientation includes 3-12 hour shifts; teamwork and communication skills are essential for success
