Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services across various units within the hospital, with an emphasis on pediatric care. The role requires a candidate with recent NICU and Level III NICU experience, flexibility to float across hospital units, and proficiency with EPIC EMR systems.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: 36 months of current Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital setting; NICU experience within the last 18 months; Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months; active certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC, NRP, IA/Iowa Respiratory license (highly preferred), and EPIC EMR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Iowa licensing (or candidate willing to obtain license with a 1-3 week turnaround); NICU experience within the last 18 months; Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months; equipment experience with Jet Ventilator, Drager Vent, and Oscillator Vent.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be willing and able to float across different units within the hospital. No CRTs will be considered. Candidate must have worked a travel assignment within the past 15 months. Positions start on 08/31/2026 with orientation sessions on 08/31, 09/08, and 09/14. No first-time travelers accepted.
