Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Puyallup, Washington. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a Level III Trauma Center with a focus on cardiac catheterization cases. The position offers a dynamic environment with a mix of scheduled and call responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to advance skills in a busy cath lab setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift with potential shifts from 0600-1630 or 0700-1730, depending on call schedule; on-call responsibilities once per week during weekdays and every 6th weekend, Friday through Monday for on-call duty until 0700 the following morning.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); required to have certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technician or similar; must possess a valid Washington state license; minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab environment, with at least 1 year if previously traveled, or more than 2 years of experience for first-time travelers.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic/interventional cath lab procedures including LHC/RHC, NSTEMI/STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacers, peripheral interventions, loop recorders, and electrophysiological procedures such as Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions, and generator changes.
  • Additional Information: The role involves utilizing EMR systems, C-arm imaging (GE Alea experience not required), and other hemodynamic equipment. Orientation begins with a day in Neuro Emory Observations (NEO) with ongoing departmental training. No float rotation is planned. The position requires a positive attitude, flexibility, and team collaboration. Parking is provided free in the garage.
