Description

Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide Cardiopulmonary Services. This role involves delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients while following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies. The position entails assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, managing ventilators, delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gases, maintaining airways, performing intubations, and handling blood gas analysis. Located in Tucson, Arizona, this contract opportunity supports the organizations clinical operations on a day shift basis.

  • Position: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Education Requirements: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT); Location: Tucson, Arizona; Experience: Minimum of 0 years; Additional experience in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department preferred, including NICU and pediatric experience minimal but sufficient for ED coverage
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatrics is advantageous
  • Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures, ventilator management, airway maintenance, intubations, and blood gases. This position is a contractor replacement for a minimum of 13 weeks with guaranteed hours.
