Description

Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General in Rochester, Minnesota. This position involves autonomously performing complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients under the supervision of physicians. The role includes utilizing advanced knowledge to execute a variety of ultrasound exams, assisting with procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation and image management.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day Shift, Start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, Outpatient, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, 13-week assignment
  • Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in a related field, graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited sonography program, ARDMS registration (or registry eligible) in abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN), and vascular technology (RVT), CPR/BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of employment, 2 years of experience within ultrasound setting
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Skills: Knowledge of Non-Imaging Vascular (NIV), Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSK), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) studies, Prostate Ultrasound, CT/PET/MRI fusion, strong communication skills, ability to communicate preliminary findings to radiologists, critical thinking, independent work capabilities, ability to lift or assist with lifting patients, knowledge of patient safety and precautions
  • Additional Information: Overtime, on-call, weekends, overnight, and holiday shifts are required per department needs. The role may involve assisting in the training of trainees, performing ultrasounds in various clinical settings, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
