Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is needed in Bluffton, Indiana. This opportunity involves performing diagnostic radiography primarily during night shifts, with the possibility of day shifts on scheduled weekends. The position offers a chance for qualified professionals to work independently in a medical setting, delivering high-quality imaging services to inpatients and emergency department patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with an additional day shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) on every fifth weekend. The night shifts are 10 hours each, and the schedule may be negotiated.
- Required Qualifications: Indiana License: Radiologic Technologist, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of CT experience with competencies, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: CT experience and competencies.
- Additional Information: This role involves performing ER and inpatient diagnostic X-ray imaging independently, assisting with patient transport, accurately processing exams, and ensuring timely reports for radiologists. The technician will work with a shared cubicle color of Caribbean blue and will serve a facility with 40 licensed beds, including 10 swing beds, providing services to emergency, outpatient, and inpatient units. The typical patient ratio is 1:1. The work environment requires submission of all required licenses and certifications, and candidates must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Note: The position is a contractor replacement, with only one position available at the specified location.
