Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with physician's orders and department policies and procedures. The position requires maintaining knowledge of oxygen delivery methods, administering respiratory therapy treatments, and managing mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning. The shift is rotating, with a schedule from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, and includes rotating weekends and call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Respiratory Therapy, active Licensed Respiratory Therapist credential, valid CPR/BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients, familiarity with respiratory equipment used in pediatrics, and additional certifications such as PALS or ENPC are a plus
• Additional Information: The role involves exposure to communicable diseases and requires adherence to infection control protocols. The position is a quick-start assignment, with a start date of 08/31/2026 and an end date of 10/12/2026. Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and call, and should demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and airway procedures.
