Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in Newark, New York. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients within a healthcare facility. The position requires the ability to perform various procedures and operate specific equipment to support patient needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license in hand, one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, and EPIC charting system experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care, airway management, and ventilator management.
• Patient Ratios: Not specified.
• Float: Yes, candidates will float between units as needed.
• Additional Responsibilities: Performing ABG sampling, ventilator management, administering medications, and providing pulmonary hygiene.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Ventilator management, airway assessments, and use of specialized equipment such as Hamilton VentSerVo-UNKV330V60.
• Modules: Ability to bill for up to 5 hours spent on modules, with a total of up to 10 hours allowed.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have a valid New York State license in hand, be within 75 miles of the facility, and have EPIC charting experience.
