The position involves performing cytology procedures such as fine-needle aspiration (FNA), EBUS, and rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE). The role requires a dedicated professional to support the pathology department with patient specimen analysis and cytology diagnostics.
Job Details:
- Certification: State of Florida technologist license in cytology
- Education and Experience: 0 years of minimum experience required; 2 years of experience preferred
- Specialty: Cytology (Cytologist)
- Shift: 8-hour days, scheduled for 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Days shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Location: 701 6th Ave S, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701
- Additional Information: Must have skills and experience in cytology, FNA procedures, EBUS, and ROSE. No weekend hours or call requirements. No unacceptable attire such as jeans or shorts; scrubs preferred.
